Quick answers for getting the most out of Evenso.

Please don't uninstall Evenso to fix a problem. Everything you've entered lives only on your phone, so uninstalling deletes it. Install updates over the top, and make a backup first if you ever do need to remove it.

Backing up your data

Android backup. If backup is on in your phone's settings, Android can include Evenso in your device backup, so it comes back when you set up a new phone with the same Google account.
Automatic copies. In Evenso, go to Settings → Backup and your data, pick Weekly or Monthly and choose a folder (for example one that syncs to your cloud drive). Evenso keeps the latest four copies there.
Export now. On the same page, Export backup saves a file wherever you choose, and Restore from backup brings one back.

Widgets

Long-press an empty spot on your home screen, tap Widgets, find Evenso and drag one out.

Today shows your habit rings and your top tasks. Tick a task right on the widget; tap a ring to open the app. When a check-in is due, it shows a button to start it. The small size shows rings only.
Ticker shows what's coming up this week: birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, gifts to buy and your own events. Choose one line (everything in turn) or two lines (today's holiday on top, the week underneath). Tap an item to open it.

Widgets follow your phone's light or dark mode.

The daily rhythm

Morning check-in: how you slept, plus energy, stress and mood. It takes under a minute.
End-of-day review: one quick yes or no for each habit, then a short wrap-up. If you miss it, Evenso asks the next time you open it.
Missed a day? That's fine. Streaks are there to cheer you on, not to punish you.

Reminders not showing up?

Some phones stop apps in the background to save battery. If reminders or alarms arrive late or not at all:

Allow notifications for Evenso in your phone's settings.
For sleep alarms, allow Alarms & reminders when Evenso asks.
Set Evenso's battery use to Unrestricted (on Samsung: Settings → Apps → Evenso → Battery).

Optional extras

In Settings → Optional extras you can use Evenso as your home screen, or turn on a lock-screen glance of today's events. Both are off unless you turn them on.
